From July 2026, Olea Creative Residency returns with MYTHOS MATERIA, a site-specific exhibition by acclaimed Greek sculptor Theodoros Visvardis.
Born on Zakynthos, Theodoros draws from the island’s mythology, history and natural landscape to create sculptures that bridge the ancient and the contemporary. Working with marble, stone and other natural materials, he reimagines classical narratives through a distinctly modern sculptural language, revealing mythology not as a relic of the past, but as a living source of inspiration.
Presented throughout Olea All Suite Hotel and Flow, Dine & Wine, more than 25 original works transform the hotel into an immersive gallery where architecture, nature and contemporary art exist in conversation. Encounter sculpture in unexpected moments, along quiet pathways, within shared spaces and beside the water, inviting a slower way of seeing and a deeper connection to place. Now in its third edition, the Olea Creative Residency continues to celebrate artists whose work is rooted in local culture while speaking a universal creative language. More than an exhibition, it is an invitation to experience Zakynthos through contemporary artistic expression, where every stay becomes part of an evolving cultural narrative.
