Welcome to the OLEA Creative Residency, an initiative launched in 2023 by OLEA ALL SUITE HOTEL.
For 2025, the Olea Creative Residency centers on the powerful theme of transformation through myth, femininity, and nature. This year’s invited artist, Natalia Manta, brings her acclaimed multidisciplinary practice – spanning clay, metal, wax, light-sensitive media, and video – into vivid focus with a site-specific installation rooted in the myth of Artemis and the rising of the Buck Moon over Zakynthos.
Entitled Double Moon – She is both the Hunt and the Hunter, Natalia’s work becomes a contemporary ritual. It reimagines archetypes of protection, wildness, and female agency through material and myth. Presented at FLOW DINE & WINE restaurant, the sculptural installation invites guests into a space where presence and transformation unfold.
The exhibition will come to life through a one-time audiovisual performance by Manta in collaboration with composer and musical saw soloist Nikos Giousef. In this live dialogue between sound and image, music and visual art respond to each other in real time, creating an immersive, evolving sensory experience.
